My mom made me a
felted knitting bag with a sheep needle-felted on the front that is SO cute. It's hot pink and it can hold the TiBook... *g* It came with several skeins of laceweight
alpaca and
merino from KnitPicks,
several patterns from Fiber Trends, and the XRX
The Knitting Experience: Book 3, Colour, along with a huge skein (1400 yds) of laceweight merino for a shawl. She also gave me a set of
Lantern Moon single-points in size 5. I hadn't realised they were Fair Trade items, and I think that people would BUY them if the packaging SAID that. So I am telling you all now that Lantern Moon needles are Fair Trade items made by women in Vietnam so don't feel guilty for buying them. (Plus they are very smooth and satiny - I got a set of rosewood, my fave!) She also made me another pair of handknitted socks. Wow, do I sound jaded or what?
